The Small 50 pump is used for the application of IPA Systems epoxy. The pump operates on 110 volt making it easy to setup anywhere. Even more amazing is the water cleanup of the IPA epoxy used in this video. No thinners, solvents, agitation, scrubbing or risk of damaging chemicals needed.
This system is perfect for the application of epoxy using a 5/8" contractor hose or a 1" i.d. hose. The usable pumping distance is from 50' to 80' vertical depending on materials. The pump will put out 3.5 gallons per minute (1/2 c.f.) with a pressure of up to 300 psi.
The epoxy used has a 14,000 psi compressive strength. A long pot life epoxy was used but not needed as the time from mixing (part A/B) was 3 minutes, mixing in mixer while adding aggregate was around 4 minutes. A batch can pump in under 5 minutes for a total time from mix to form of under 15 minutes per batch.
