The Chaplet of the Immaculate Heart (see prayer text below) is a devotion to the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary, which emphasizes Mary's interior life, virtues, and deep love for God and humanity, imploring her aid and protection. The symbolism of Mary's heart represents her maternal love, compassion, and spiritual purity. It is seen as a profound expression of her willingness to obey God's will and her role in the salvation of humanity through her acceptance of being the mother of Jesus.

Using a set of Rosary beads, start by making the "Sign of the Cross" 5 times in veneration of the five Holy Wounds of Christ:
“In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.”
On the large beads, say:
"Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for those who seek refuge in you."
On the small beads, say:
"Holy Mother, save us through your Immaculate Heart's flame of love."
Conclude the chaplet by praying the “Glory Be” prayer 3 times:
“Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to Holy Spirit. Amen.”

Oh Holy Mother please take me home with you and Jesus and St Joseph in heaven so that I can have eternal life. Please don't leave me too long on this earth as I have been suffering and struggling for a long time and am now very tired 😩 and weary and drained 😞😴😭😭. I have a lingering degenerative terminal and progressive neurological disease which is getting worse 😭 and I'm frightened of being bedridden before I die 😥. I'm old and socially isolated except for my carer and friend who has health issues of his own 😥😭😭😭. Please don't take Eric away from me as I have no one else to look after me. Please heal Eric of whatever physical problems he may have 😭🙏✝️. Please take me home first as I can't cope with being on this earth on my own 😭🙏✝️🙏. Thank you for this Chaplet and I have decided to pray it weekly on a Saturday. Saturday is observed as a weekly memorial to Our Lady [except in Lent and Eastertide] unless the Saturday is a Solemnity, Feast or important memorial. IDK if this weekly memorial is general throughout the Church or is a national observance introduced by our national Bishop's Conference [England]. A I will be using it as a private devotion, would it be appropriate to use in in Lent and Eastertide or should I look for another, more seasonal devotion during these seasons?
