Immaculate is a 2024 American psychological horror film directed by Michael Mohan, written by Andrew Lobel, and co-produced by Sydney Sweeney, who also stars in the film alongside Álvaro Morte, Benedetta Porcaroli, Dora Romano, Giorgio Colangeli, and Simona Tabasco. The plot focuses on a young woman of devout faith, who is invited to reside at a picturesque Italian convent, but slowly realizes the terrifying secrets it harbors.

Sydney Sweeney is that girl right now and it’s been fun to watch her movies because she gets better and better. I love that so many movies this year are female centered. I saw this, The First Omen and then Abigail and they all gagged me in the best way. I’d say def do the first omen just be aware that the pacing is a bit slower but it’s worth it I promise ❤

what a year for religious and body horror films, I LOVE HOW HORROR MOVIES ARE AMAZING THIS YEAR; it gives Rosemary’s Baby, The Omen (can’t wait to see The First Omen), and the last season from American Horror Story: Delicate, i think u should check out those if u’r not do it yet (sorry for my English i’m from Spain 😭 jajajajajaja), it’s all the same vibe and this movie WOW, Sidney became a new Scream Queen and the finale was epic with her performance so put respect on her name pls, people are so mean to her 🥺

I need Sydney to play a full on villain, when I went in I was hoping her part would be similar to Mary Eunice/the devil from American horror story asylum played by lily rabe, and while this plot is very similar to asylum, shes not the villain. I’m late to this but I’m just finding you and watching all your stuff, for the Catholic Church when a Nun takes her vows she’s marrying to Christ, it’s a whole ceremony and they get rings as well. That’s how you know they’ve taken their vows to Christ. So these themes are pretty real which makes it even more sinister. I’m loving your reactions!

I was able to enjoy The First Omen and Immaculate at the movies in recent months and it was good fun, especially The First Omen. On a cinematographic level, I think it has been one of the best films of the genre in recent years, especially the leading performance of Nell Tiger Free, it is spectacular. Perhaps we have had too many films with the theme of a young novice arriving at a convent and strange events begin to occur in recent months, but they have all been very enjoyable. As for Immaculate, it is short and to the point, I like Sydney in horror and my compatriot Álvaro Morte always gives his all, it is a pride to see a Spaniard in a good production in Hollywood.

Watched this last night! I’m not sure how I felt about it. I didn’t hate it. Was anyone else kinda shocked when she was in the car and he pulled out a cell phone? It threw me for a loop. I thought the time frame of the movie was like the 1940s or earlier the entire time lol.

8:00 you did read it! the MCMI is roman numerals i think. I think its supposed to be that number thing for line, verse, page. (i'm more familiar with poetry than I am with the bible so thats the only format I know) so M= 1000 C=100 I=1 Idk if its 1100:1001 or 1111??? Im not really sure how to interpret it
