*Thoughts on Rainberry?* 🌧

The look on your face after the "stick of truth" = PRICELESS! How did it look plum-purple in the jar, green on the stick of truth, then steel blue on the car? VERY COOL!

YES to seeing it on different base colors at the end.

That is one of the most trippy pearls I've ever seen on this channel. So crazy how it's pink on white, then green on black?! Would love to see this over a zebra print vinyl or something

I did not expect to like it over the white base as much as I did

I am a color specialist, i do this stuff everyday. it would be a better visual understanding if you spray the pearls on the speed shapes on half only. It enables the viewer to see the base and the changes to the base.

Anthracite or white base looks awesome on the sample shapes.

Is that???? Wait....Wait....How???? I'm confused.... I don't know what I like more....the pearl or the video. This is a 5. I can't really see the shifting that much which I love... subtle genius. The army green and the anthracite base colors are both absolutely amazing!!! Great video!!!

I say if you put that over top of a hypershift green that shifts to yellow, it would create a wild chromatic effect similar to a coy fish scales.

Just a thought/suggestion... Maybe run a tape line down the speed shapes at the end to show the original color vs. the pearl on top.... I do dig the rainberry over everything but the red...

Interesting product. Looks like he has found a way to get this particular pigment to show not only a primary and secondary color but also show their blend (i.e. Blue and Yellow make Green) but to do it at the same time to blend but not blend based on the angle is a neat trick. Obviously proud of himself which is why he sent it to you. Honestly I have seen the typical purple green blend since the first chameleon paint came out in the 90s and this is the first one I have actually enjoyed. Subtle is way better than stark contrast. Surprising to see how little purple actually shows up. Since its really a green paint I would like to see a full Anthracite spray. Could potentially be a new Aston Martin color.

The car looks like a beautiful ripe blueberry. The pink and the white look the best. It gets lost on the dark colours. Love it!!!! 💖

My uncle is almost to the paint stage of restoring the original bodystyle C1 Corvette and he's doing blue. I gotta say the end result of this is perfect for him, subtle enough that it's not too flashy for a 70 year old man, but different enough from a stock metallic to catch your attention. So I guess he'd have to spray over a blurplish base to achieve this result. I'll have to consult with him before he sprays something too boring.

Red or white base looked intriguing to me. Would love to see more of that

This video really highlights how big an impact the base has. The Rainberry on the white base looks like a completely different color vs. the black base. I think the black base is a 5/5, would love to see it on the full car.

Gorgeous. 5/5. No Notes. This is the kind of look I love. Subtle but classy. Not in your face, but interesting Makes you look twice, and say, "Nice." I think seeing it on a neutral base like black or white might reveal more of what's actually going on. But I LOVE the blue/purple hues on this car, especially since it doesn't shift heavily towards greens or yellows.

Wow that was the most surprising turn out I think I have seen yet, purple in the jar, green on the stick and then an awesome bule when done on the car. Like it was said in other comment the look on your face when you dipped the stuck of truth as priceless. this was a 5 for me

Truly one of the most mind blowing colors I seen 5/5 on the car just love the steel blue on the Evo X. When it comes to the Shapes I like it on Red, Army Green, Anthracite, and Black.

I know pearls never work over a white base. The last video you made spraying pearls over white I commented that anyone who's watched more than a dozen of your videos should know never to attempt pearls over a white base. . . . . . all that being said we need to see this over white.

Looks like a faded 97 Plymouth neon purple. The red base is actually 🔥. The black base is the second best. What a weird color as it reacts to different colors in such a strange contrast until it reveals its true color over white. This should be called the cloakinator not Rainberry.

As someone who loves blues on his cars, I def give this 5/5. Made that initial base look quite blue with a silver metallic shift, amazing. Outside that initial base on the car, I like this on the black base next best (though that red with the gold hues gave some Iron Man vibes so I could dig that too)

This color can be only described as one thing: MINTBERRY CRUNCH! All that aside, Rainberry is absolutely gorgeous.

That’s so funky. It looks really good on mid-tone colors like the grey, green, and pink. Interesting how it has such a different appearance shift from base color to base color.

You usually don’t see so much on the white but this is different. I favored the Anthracite and the black. Loved both of those!

I see where the subtle comes into play with the shift. It is truly crazy how sensitive to the base color it is. The thing that really shocked me is what it did over the white base. It probably carries the best color over the white of anything you've sprayed that I've seen to date. It is a very cool pigment.

Love this and was totally shocked when you were spraying and it went from purple to blue. Crazy. 5+ For the bases I was going with Army Green or Anthracite until I saw black and that blew all the rest out of the water for me. It is such a weird pearl in the way it totally changes color depending on the base.

In the jar and pouring, along with that violet, I was getting silvery teal. Outside the teal is more aqua.. it's good. Solid 4. army green.. that's cool.. better than the OG..that's a 5. Good on the anthracite and black 4 really good on the white..another 5

The absolute chaos and randomness of this vid WAS AWESOME!!! I thoroughly enjoyed your expressions throughout, LOL 😂😉... Rainberry is a low-key moody girl, and I kinda love that - It works beautifully over... whatever that base coat was. It is surprisingly subtle in its effects, but that is kinda nice as a means of modifying a brighter base coat of color. We don't see a lot of that, as it seems to mostly be a lot of flashy & eye-catching stuffs - which I love, let's be honest; but it's nice to have the subtler options, too. I think this particular combo is a 5 (it's soooo Moody Blues, without any grey or black - I like the purity of the blues it gives this way), personally. Purples, blues and white are the most impressive base colors, I think... this would NEED to go over a car that has a blue or purple base, and then the other color + white as highlights... I bet it might look real nice over a deep cherry red base, or a deep orange, too!

This is really cool! I'd love to see rainberry show up again in a future vid in some format. Something like a patterned base coat or something. I've seen really cool ideas in the comments!

I don’t know how purple on purple ends up blue but I really like that shade. 4/5. It’s very subtle. Wild how it brings out gold highlights on Red and Army Green, but is lavender on White base. For once the Anthracite didn’t stand out. I like it best on the Army Green.

What an interesting Pearl, army green was lush. Mad how it changes on different base colours, like how is it green & gold on black & pink on white 🤯

I will give the project a 5. Now on to the speed shapes: Army Green was my favorite the rainberry gave it a sort of jungle vibe to it. I would like to see it on a darker shade of green I think it would pop more but that is me. I look forward to your next project with this pearl.

The subtle shift is very apparent over the black and white, but the difference in the base tone between the two is wild. Would be pretty interesting to see a black and white, two tone. It would have to be on a car that has good body lines for the separation. Still, i think it could work and look pretty sweet.

That was one of the most purely intriguing shifts I think I’ve seen, looked great! I’d love to see it over a base of gunmetal below the body line and navy blue base above the body line!

3/5 on the purple base; it really highlighted the angles in the bodylines, but the shift was, in fact, very subtle, so it almost looked like normal highlights. as for the test colors at the end, the wild differences it gave for each color shows how versatile this "subtleshift" is. It looks great on red, army green, white, anthracite, and black, but all for different reasons.

Interesting sensitivity levels! Looks strong silver-ish over black base, while more pink cotton candy over white base. I think a half n half project is in order! Half the car in black base, half in white base. Then the subtle shift will REALLY show out!

4/5. The colour change of that rainberry was interesting. It looked good on the Evo and the anthracite with the purplish blues and green hints. But to see the difference between what was being stirred up and what appeared on the stick of truth was mind blowing.

I'd like to see Rainberry on White for breast cancer awareness! The Rainberry on Army Green would be awesome for Veteran's Day!

That is a beautiful purple in the glass jar. I have seen quite a few very expensive silks that have the subtle shift of purple and green in the top of the jar view. 4/5 I personally like when the base influences the results and it does in this case but I can’t say for sure that the base was the best choice. I think that it looked best over the white base.
