Every mod is the same, they all do the same TACTICOOL ELITE OPERATOR with 25 attachments on their gun. It’s getting old tbh

It takes the community patch and about 10 other mods to stabilize Fallout 4's graphical engine, make it look and run better, and double the framerate achieved in vanilla, even with a 2k texture pack. I got Fallout 4 running at about 20-50 fps on a 13 year-old Alienware laptop with below minimum required specs for F4 (I did not install 2k textures however), and it runs at a comfy 100+ fps on my current, "less-than-new" rig running a GTX 970 with multiple re-shades installed. A modern PC with decent hardware can easily push those mods and settings into 300+ fps range, and then install a bunch of re-shades and ENBs and still get a framerates above a monitor's usual 75-144 Hz refresh rate.

@@lazerhosen any fps boosters you can recommend my friend? So far I only have boston fps fixer and ultra god rays performance fix. My frames are pretty decent at 1440p but i still take hits in areas but not too terrible. Thanks in advance!

@@warangel9912 I would have to look at my old mod list. There is one tagged under "performance" on Nexus that fixes the fact that the game is rendering things you can't see/behind you, constantly... Those frame drops occur no matter what, btw, because even though the Creation Engine is "new," it's built on top of Skyrim's, which was built on top of Oblivian's, which was built on top of Morrowind's etc. Extremely antiquated and tech barely held together by less-antiquated fixes and workarounds.

100% bethesda is good at giving us these games as templates for us to mod into what ever we want our games to be.

Bruh Base Fallout 4 actually aged really well, considering its a 7 year old game. I think you have to give a lot of credit to Bethesda.

Honestly this whole playthrough maybe 1 crash and I have 2 days worth of gaming for this playthrough. Pay attention to when it crashes usually theres a reason for it especially when modding. Usually theres 1 or 2 mods that cause the game to be unstable, I also use vortex and so far its been easy to get stable playthroughs especially with its mod sorting.

As someone with a 150 mod load order list I can confirm it works fine. There's a couple small issues, but nothing that ruins its enjoyment and immersion

1940-50 isn't lore friendly actually. Something that come close to wasteland 2 would be more fitting.

@@benjapizarro981 right with most designs based around the fifties, like tv, clothes, cars to some extent, furniture and more, the 50's vibe is what makes fallout fallout at least the Bethesda games and if you want a more classic fallout experience maybe don't play a first/third person shooter

@@warangel9912 I love the Stingray Air Support mod because it keeps with existing in-universe tech... unlike all them there picatinny rail mounts and modern weapons that were never manufactured in Fallout's alternate reality (no offense, your tastes are fine, I just find them to be unfriendly to the existing lore) Compared to a lot of other "ultra-modded" videos I've seen though, I actually recognize a lot of mods I use too! I also find that your choice of re-shade/ENB and lighting to be much more tasteful than a lot of people... who seem to think "photorealistic" means "instagram filter."

Yeah the stingray is one of my faves though I have the COD overhaul for it

@@Ethan-fv3fg no its from backpacks of the commonwealth i believe, the original mod is gone so I'm using the Español version. There are other better back pack mods out now though.

Fallout 2287 is the name of the mod that adds the gas mask and all its properties, its really an impressive mod that pretty much mimics the metro series gas mask and then some. I only use it while exploring the glowing sea because thats what makes sense to me.

Its easy to miss when your not looking for it but you'll notice the weapon actually sways and pulls when looking right or left and has some free motion instead of the weapon being static in the middle of the screen. Note: you will have to rebind your Q and E keys to something els before using this mod. I forget what their default binds are, i think for the quick menu?

Not really. Firstly you could just make a copy of the unmodified game to another folder so that you then have two copies, one modified and one vanilla. These days however just about every mod manager does that for you, Fivem can't alter the GTAV directory or it may get someone banned from GTA Online so that program keeps all mods far away from the game and only loads them when you specifically launch Fivem. Nexus uses profiles and records what your vanilla game directory looks like so you can have a dozen profiles that each run different mods (I have F4 vanilla, F4 modded and F4 Frost for example). Other game-specific programs such as Exult and Daggerfall Unity do what I mentioned in my first sentence, they take a copy of the original game files for themselves leaving the original game in it's vanilla state.
