For creating new infrastructure it take billions and billions of dollars, they brought all these students to do slave labour, when inflation has increased more than 50% in last 12 years that means your salary purchasing power is 50% less than 12 years back.

Everybody here looks very youthful to me, I'm an ancient old man at 46yrs old. These are my observations. Most towns in Ontario outside Toronto and Ottawa we're dying from population decline before immigrants arrived, all school enrolment(elementary to post secondary) was in decline even in big cities. Immigrants arrived and literally saved the locals from decline allowing them to maintain and improve their own living standards. In my opinion, it is only fair in return to allow immigrants to dream big to improve living standards for their own families. Not all the locals were very welcoming to my immigrant family after WW2. My own classmates made fun of the shape of my eyes in the 1980's and 90's, my foreman at my job made angry mean spirited jokes about my eyes just last year(I had to warn him verbally...) Brief history from 1800's-1950's: Canada+Ontario gave tracts of land to British Nobility and retired Soldiers, then the Scots, Welsh, Italians, Germans, Polish, French, Dutch and Citizens from Commonwealth Countries. Kitchener Ontario was once named Berlin, we have a Warsaw and an Odessa... But in the mid 1960's no more new towns were built, housing has been a slow moving car crash since then. Canadians did this to themselves before inviting immigrants and haven't done anything yet to fix it. My proposal: Ontario acquires underutilized land and goes back to the 1800's land grant model but this time opens it up to all Canadian Citizens and their families living abroad. Honestly, I'd love to see the immigrants collaborate with the locals and build 100% new towns, this was done before and is overdue! We would plan it properly and evenly so nobody gets left behind or shortchanged: New places of worship for all faiths with enough attached acreage for outdoor sacred garden spaces for all, this would be an ideal opening gesture of good will. We would optimize suburban, urban, high rise, commercial, industrial, agricultural and rural land within the new towns. No red-tape other than building code compliance. Starting with 3new cities anywhere between Bowmanville and Colborne: New Karachi, New Mumbai and New Manila as a concrete action showing appreciation to the current generation of new arrivals for their sacrifices and serves as a welcome to their extended families. Then 3 more new cities: 1 on Rice Lake, 1 on Lake Scugog and 1 on Lake Simcoe. Kawartha's and Hwy 7 corridor would be great place to build a Little Islamabad, Little New Delhi, Little Dhaka, Little Luzon and Little Mindanao. Finally, 3more new towns on the Ottawa river. Cornwall area is very boring, their pizza is amazing but I mostly don't go there😅 But these new cities would be nicer than most of our current cities, some people would be too afraid and jealous to even think about the possibility. Hopefully in the near future, immigrants will be able to make these decisions politically and save Canadians from our own short-sighted thinking once again. Thank-you to everybody for speaking about the importance of God, family, peace and kindness. You all have helped me improve myself and use my time more wisely by sharing your knowledge🥰

2nd largest country in the world , with a very small population . If this is not incompetence of the government then I don't know what is. Houses are literally made in months there , also made using the most flimsy and cheap materials . Houses are literally so weak that they could blow away with strong winds or walls could get holes in them if you punch hard enough. If people there can't make such low quality housing in adequate numbers imagine what would have happened if they built strong houses made with bricks , concrete like the rest of the world, which takes more time and costs much more .

The mass importation of immigration has lead to this. We used to build homes to last a 100 years in brutal conditions. Now we pay a million for a paper shoe box. Sure, its a big country but people like you refuse to settle un-populated areas. And cram 15+ people into suburban homes. Than bitch that we didnt make it strong enough. You want to be Canadian? Buy some land, grow some crops and build your home with your own hands.

biggest investment is the fee that international students pay in canada. May universities will close if internatinoal students are capped. If a domestic student pay 4000-5000$ for a course. For the same course an internatinoal student pays 30,000-40,000 $. Govt. therefore can't risk this income and put a cap on immigration.

Bro, the real problem is majority of people have invested their money in real estate 🏡, Canadian economy is dependent on real estate, if government will build a more affordable house then Canadian economy will collapse suddenly, that’s why they don’t build houses, government has ties with Giant rentals houses, so they look immigrant as their customers, nothing else, If Canadian government will build more affordable houses then Good Luck

It's because Canadians are risk averse and have a rent-seeking mindset. An extremely unproductive population that is not willing to work hard to stay competitive and relevant. The issue of less supply is because everyone who has been here a long time benefits from high asset prices. The Ponzi can't collapse because it would compromise the country's GDP. As others have pointed out, there is no logical reason for "lack of space" or "building materials" in the world's second largest country.
@awesomekj5812
@awesomekj5812 11 ай бұрын
Yup and its going to bite them in the ass when other countries will take over Canada with more economic growth and GDP. All Canadian politicians wants is to keep their housing investment and prices up ..which only benefits them and nobody else. Very pathetic way to run the country.

True. But Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth aren't exactly cheap places to to buy or rent property. Australia is nice, but Australia also has their own small but loud version of homegrown "Justin Trudeau culture" Stay safe my friends and do plenty of research before making any big leap into a new country.

Students are not the actual problem. Problem are those who come here for free and take government benefits for decades and never work only beg on the street lights. I hope everyone understands what i am talking about.

Exactly, they beg at streetlights and steal copper too. When I see them, I sincerely hope immigrants with religious beliefs about the charitable distribution of food can direct their charity to actual human beings instead of the permanently bad people. In the 2000's my mom once offered one standing on a traffic median near Walmart a shopping trip inside the store, but my mom's offer was turned down because it wasn't straight up $ for alcohol and drugs...Tell your community not to fall for these scammers. The people at the streetlights are 0% like the monks and nuns, they will take advantage of the religious beliefs and good will of others without ever trying to fix themselves. They are 🧟🧟‍♂🧟‍♀ God is great!⛪🕌🛕🕍⛩🕋

She did M-Tech (ECE). but her experience has been in my proprietorship firm of a computer and electronics service centre for the last 6 years. from the last 2 years’ salary credited to her account from my business account. Our professional clients can give her appreciation and reference letters. Is it a valid experience in the spouse’s firm or a conflict of interest?

If IRCC finds any issue in validating the experience claimed. They will ask for bank statements, Income tax / form 16 in India / Tax remitted in India , Reference numbers/ email , Even they have third party agencies which will conduct background checks . If you are making a false claim , or with any fake documents , definitely you will be banned for 5 years & any further applications will have your file history as well.

Students have very low income and have fees they can add to their tax file...they hardly pay any tax. For several years they are not contributing much until they actually earn more and end schooling. Most students I know actually receive tax returns in the 1000s after filing tax. I pay over 30k a year tax....would be better if immigration was for skilled workers that started contributing right away not students. They don't purchase much either since they have little disposable income so their GST/PST is not a large contribution to the country either.
@LifeofRishabh
@LifeofRishabh 11 ай бұрын
Students don’t get any social security benefits either. They don’t even get a health card until they start working full-time. So if they are paying 4x college fees, and working delivery jobs they are already contributing to this economy.
@canadianjatti
@canadianjatti 11 ай бұрын
They often do not add their delivery income to tax file so they are earning this income tax free....the college fees benefit the college/uni not the country...that money doesnt support infastructure or healthcare or pension. We need more proffesionals that earn more to pay higher taxes for these things.@@LifeofRishabh

Food and housing can be expensive in Canada for sure. Plenty of jobs here, but it's still difficult to pay rent and mortgages with the hourly rate of pay. I often wonder what Spain would be like for lifestyle and cost of living if I wasn't born in Canada? Costa Rica is good for food, housing costs and lifestyle but they have expensive tariffs on all imported items and almost everything is imported. Modest lifestyle is good in Costa Rica, I think there are some good 'ex-pat laws' there worth looking into. Spanish language is structured exactly like english language but with easier rules, less rules, an option to use tone changes to skip some useless 'junk-words' like: can, if, would, why, how, may, when, his, hers, it's, that's... Anyways, find a list of countries with the best affordable rent and countries with the best affordable properties to own. Decide which option suits you best, then compare paths to citizenship, average income, taxes and cost of living. Whatever country you choose be sure it suits your vision for the future so your other family members will want to move there as well. Flying to visit family is good, but the same country and maybe same city would be ideal. It's a very big decision, but you will do great with good research I know it!
