In this weeks video we have been out on a picnic, started sorting and packing our stuff before we can move to Sweden.
On this channel I will share my photography stories, as well traveling with a Land Rover and how our way to moving to Sweden evolves!

Of course we have that! But this is much cheaper 😂😂 Yes it’s super exciting but still feels like a lot more to do before we can go… 🙃🙈

Great progress! Smart to rent a furnished place to start with, so you can search for the right place in a more relaxed way. I took a break to watch your video. I am also moving, July 1st, so have a bit longer to prepare than you have! Gosh, it's not until you start you realize how much stuff there is!! Hope you will find the surroundings bicycle friendly in and around Sollefteå 🚴‍♂I had a quick look at the Swedish Migration Agency's website, it seems that you don't need to have a residence permit either, coming from within EU, is that correct? Yes we think this is a good way to start and indeed look for other places to live in a relaxed way 👍🏼 oh good luck on your own journey of moving to another place, still in Göteborg? I have been cycling there already, so I will find my way on the road there too 😁 Hmm no we will be applying for the personal number when we are there 😊

@@lifeof_guy Personal number will make many things easier for you, it's like a magic key😁. Yes, I'm staying in Göteborg, I have both of my daughters here. I retired from 40+ years as a nurse, in the midst of the pandemic. Have been thinking for a while to look for another flat with lower rent. Didn't really expect to find anything good so quick, as the demand is high here, big city and all!

My ex colleague leads a team at my previous work place, working from home in Sollefteå. He´s also from the Netherlands and the work can be done in English and Dutch. I know they were looking at recruiting recently so maybe connecting with him might be interesting for you? :)

For a lot of reasons, to follow our dreams, because it makes us happy 🙏🏼

I left Sweden at 22 for Italy, met my American husband within a month, lived there for years, moved to the US for a few years then on to South Africa for many years and then back to Texas.

@@lifeof_guy since I was 4 I said, when I grow up I am goring to America, well it happened and I am very happy here, citizen since many years. Lost my husband though soon 11 years ago, but have many dogs in the house as my family.
