I would suggest students to go with BMO Chequing accounts with Student Discount Programs as well as RBC Canada No Limit Banking account with Student Discount. If you’re going to work full time then go for RBC and TD. Most of the mortgages are with RBC and TD, so you know where to go for help with mortgages.

Our whole family is closing our accounts. We have about 75000 all together. Justin treadue is freezing accounts and the td is allowing it. Never going there again

@@Modernman10000That would probably work. Though I do know that some machines here have trouble with certain foreign credit cards. I'd think VISA should be fine though.
