I'm loving it on the Switch. This game is a masterpiece. It will definitely keep me occupied for a while. When you consider that this game was designed with the PS5 and Xbox Series X in mind, it's amazing how well it runs on the Switch.

Remember when sub 30fps was unacceptable? It's ok when nintendo does it though I guess.

For $500 ($400 digital) at ps5 playing AAA games at 1440p at 60fps on a standard 4k 60Hz TV is a hard deal to beat.

Well they wont abandon current gen just yet, especially since no one can even get a damn next gen console right now.

There are rumors of a Pro version that could release sometime mext year. My guess is that we won't see an increase in current gen games coming over to the switch simply because the power gap between ps5 and series x and the switch is now bigger than ever. And in terms of power, the Switch is almost 2 generations behind. But at the same time, that's what makes it so fascinating to me. And I like when developers push their skills to the limits and manage to bring over a solid versions of demanding games.

The map and lightening doesn’t change until like 5 hours in. No time for all of that. Edit: okay so maybe I was exaggerating but it really is like a 3 hour intro until the title screen opens up and the time of day opens up.

@@martingeorgiev9272 unfortunately it is. The framerate is really bad. The game seems good, but it runs like ass. I was expecting it to run like botw on the switch. Its nowhere close. It's not so bad I wont play through it, though. The cursor on the menu screen has a weird lag to it too. I swear its gotta be a bug

@@hashvendetta7226 hmm the climbing is a bit clunky but aside from that i didn't experience any frame rate drops and i played it right after botw. I donno man may be it's just me but the game runs fine in my opinion.

@@martingeorgiev9272 that's crazy. It runs so poorly on my switch I felt I made a mistake by not just getting it for the ps4. I wonder if I'm missing am update or something. Does you menu screen do the same thing with the cursor? Where there is huge input delay.

Because the Switch version was done by a different team. The PC version is just badly optimized. Even the original runs and looks better than the Remastered.

Did you set it to run at the same resolution and settings?

There’s a larger discrepancy between the switch versions when compared to the others so it makes sense to showcase that in my opinion.

Que tanto lo vale? Sinceramente estoy en un dilema si irme a la version de switch por lo portatil o si quedarme con la version de pc. Me preocupa un poco que se vea muy pequeño en un mundo tan repleto de cosas (la resolucion) y el campo de vista y las texturas en cierta medida que si se ven un poco feas a veces (aunque es lo de menos)

También dicelo a ps5 que en su modo qualty tiene las sombras exactamente igual a la switch. Que pasa? Como es que no pueden hacer sombras mejores en una consola de next gen super potente y no pueden superar los graficos de una consola portátil?

Just due to optimization most likely. This game is on a lot of different systems they had to optimize and build for. If this game had been made specifically with the ps5 in mind then it would be 4k60

That's usually the case when a new console come out, they really know how to make a game for the previous gen, but the new gen they don't know yet

También en sombras, distancia de dibujado, teselado, partículas, vegetación y con fps menos estables. Aún así el juego se ve decente y sinceramente yo me compraría ese juego en Switch, pero no tengo Switch, a ver si sacan una "Pro" el próximo año.

@Eren Altunsoy portability my man. It's the only console that gives you both portable experience on a good screen and a big tv experience. It wins by simply being a hybrid and having a somewhat dissent performance. Ironically sony basically did the same with the psp go but the idea was still too undeveloped to bring success. If you prefer power over flexibility than having a ps4 , Xbox or even a pc are the options for you. I have a switch and a ps4 and i still don't know which one is better.

@Eren Altunsoy oh you'll be very surprised. Do you think botw and this game with their cartoonish style, shading effects and realistic physics would've existed if not for Nintendo's infirior hardware. No. They have little power so they are forced to be creative and come up with games that are superior in completely different ways. An ongoing trend in video games for the last 10 years was to look as realistic as possible. Gta5, tlos1,2 and of course the one who reached the limit of this trend rdr2. This is not a bad thing by all means but i don't think it should be the main focus. Everyone was obsessed with the realism but botw mario, oddesy and basically the switch itself showed that you can make the game fun, pretty and even timeless without sacrificing so much power. They managed to somewhat end or at least tame that realism obsession. In a year or two they'll release an improved switch with better specs and design but it'll still be far less powerful than ps5 or series x. The switch will not fall behind as long as Nintendo doesn't forget what they are going for. If you think about it Minecraft, a game which bears the same ideals is considered one of the greatest of all time. Personally i absolutely adore every game i mentioned except Minecraft but i agree that it's amazing.

@Eren Altunsoy some of them will not be that demanding due to the reasons i just mentioned, but for the majority yes you're right. I'm afraid that this version of the switch will relay mostly on 1st party support.
