Daily Wellness Shots🍊🍋🫚✨
These health shots have been a new habit in my morning routine and a new element in my weekly meal prep! It’s so crazy to pay $5-$7 for a SINGLE shot in a grocery store or café, when you could make a whole DOZEN for the same price at home! I love these especially during the winter months because they
✨ boost your immune system
✨ aid digestion
✨ are loaded with antioxidants and anti-inflammatories
They’re super easy to make and I just got my shot glasses and the sieve off of Amazon! They’re linked in my Amazon storefront ☺️
Here’s the recipe:
2 oranges
1 lemon
~70g-80g ginger root (sometimes I use a little more)
3/4 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
A little bit of black pepper (this activates the turmeric and increased the rate it’s absorbed in the body)
2 cups of water
~ 1 tbsp of honey
1. Peel and cut oranges
2. Peel and cut lemon
3. Wash and cut ginger root
4. Pour in 1 cup of water
5. Add turmeric, black pepper, and cayenne pepper
6. Drizzle in some honey
7. Blend
8. Strain through a sieve or cheesecloth
9. Pour juice into shot glasses
