Another good tip is to get any work done before ramadhan starts. Assignments, house work etc. Get whatever grocery you can before, do your eid shopping now. Tips that have helped me waste less time in Ramadhan

One thing I'm planning on doing this ramandan is reflecting over the Qur'an everyday in sha Allah. I find that if an individual reflects over the Qur'an deeply and reguarly it will, without a shadow of a doubt, change their entire view on life and the way they conduct themselves. salam alekom. i have one tip for those whose not started praying yet. learn the pillars of what makes the prayer valid, so you can differentiate between sunnah and obligatory fardh. that way, you will realize that a fardh prayer is very short and easy, and you can add sunnah later inshallah. Also, a complementary tip, learn the rules of wudu (washing), and check the rules for wiping over socks (and shoes). it will make wudu even easier during the day, since you do not have to make your feet wet every time
