How anyone can be nasty towards you I’ll never know! For sure they have issues and are best ignored. Hard to do, but try not to invest your energy and time on the negative comments. It's all about them being able to throw out some hate and negativity rather than actually being based on any kind of reality. Here's a positive comment to balance them out: I started watching your vlog purely by chance towards the end of the first lockdown in 2020. I also live in South Wales and at that time felt really demotivated, a little depressed and definitely stuck. Watching all your vlogs and you go about your life with such enthusiasm for the big AND small things, genuinely helped shift my mood and state of mind a little as I could see someone living a great, busy and fun daily life in my area. Thankyou! You also intro'd me to Worms Eye View who had a similar effect. Double thankyou! No need to comment back or like Imo.....this is purely a comment for you!

I am still in awe of the fact that you do a daily upload AND have the second channel as well... Lee & I struggle to put up 2 videos per week and answer all our comments, so completely lack the motivation necessary to keep up with Facebook and Instagram. I love your channel Imo and find you to be lovely and kind and so genuine. There isn’t a single channel I watch that isn’t descended upon by bullies at some point. Unfortunately all KZfaqrs seem to get them here and there. I hope you’ll always know to listen to the voices of the overwhelming majority that appreciate you and your channel. I always think of the Teflon / Velco situation... we can receive 1000 positive comments and they're like Teflon, they slide off us... and then receive 1 nasty comment and it sticks in our minds for ages. My new response is to put myself in AI mode and reply with "Thank you for the comment." and then it's off the Studio Comments screen and I don't think of it anymore. I also think growing older is such a incredible gift, so even when I notice my face is looking a bit wrinkly, I remember that I'm 54 and of course I'm going to have wrinkles and I absolutely love each and every one of them ❤ You're gorgeous and your skin is amazing xx ~ Mandy

Bless you Imo. I have often said to my husband that if I lived near you I’d love you as a friend. You’re bubbly, friendly person. I enjoy your videos. Please block the trolls. It would be awful if we couldn’t chat with you on here. Don’t let the trolls win. I have Denplan for my teeth. It’s well worth it. I just had to replace two front teeth crowns after damage. I paid £120 each for them. But it was well worth it with them being my two front teeth. I know a new bathroom is lovely, I need one myself: But as you say Imo, playing the flute 🪈 is your livelihood. If you don’t have Denplan I recommend you get it, or see if there are any other dental plans out there. Your dental treatment is covered by your monthly payment plan. You just need to pay for things like caps/crowns. Basically things they have to pay an outside lab to make. It’s peace of mind. X

For repeat offenders block the people from your channel and knowing there are spiteful people, delete…delete..delete We have this too but delete comments from our videos to keep the comments section safe for regular viewers.

I have just come across you, and I am so glad I have, as you are such a lovely thoughtful person. Unfortunately I have a person who is very dominant towards me, and will ruin my day with her thoughtless words to me. So I know how you feel about dreading reading what those few horrible folk say to you in the comments. But caring folk like us do seem to be open to abuse by some people, and there is not a lot we can do about it. But remember all the lovely comments from loving people, and all I ever hope is that some of the kindness and respect for others, that you and I have, rubs off on the bully people. Hi Imo, we've been away and whilst travelling I saw this titled vlog, somewhat too of an occasional ick we have to deal with! They do say all comments, positive or negative, are good for a channel, but crikey I do wonder why some people get a kick out of being deliberately rude, offensive, negative or whatever! I do try to reply to these type of comments, if I feel I can neutralise their nastiness without being rude back...otherwise, I ignore or delete...

Imo of all people getting picked on. Grrrr.. So sorry that there are those that feel the need to be so vile towards you. Thankfully, you have an army of people that love you for what you do, and enjoy your content. The negative nelly's can just go pound sand. Hopefully the dentist can repair the crack and fill the chip, so that you don't need any major work done. Love IB's reactions to the expired dates !!!. 🤣 For a man who eats dead cows, and worried about a few weevils.. hahahahaha ( I don't eat beef, but sure wouldn't want weevils in my cupboards either). ha

I just block negative people it's all you can do. Tell IB I'm in the middle of a clear out too and just as much old stuff. I save the washed glass jars as glass less common and put ceylon cinnamon etc in them since it comes bagged. Also cocoa I add to my coffee. And custom spice blends and sometimes bits of hardware and twist ties. I have more room in cabinets now and know what I own finally.

Negative or positive....all helps "grow" the channel....after all, they watched and took moments from their day to post.....its the " nature of the best" is this thing called social media......you have a niche that's the "everyday" and "my days" numbers are growing, so that must mean something......
