One of the most profound teachers of self-love of our time, Anita Moorjani, is once again our special guest on the show. She is a prolific speaker and a New York Times best-selling author. Her first book, Dying to Be Me, shares the journey of her near-death experience where she was given the choice to return to her physical form or to continue into this new realm. In her new book, Sensitive is the New Strong, Anita guides empaths, or those who feel more sensitive to their surroundings than most, in how to live a healthy life.
In this heart-centered conversation, Anita shares with Lee the power of renewed beliefs and how we can heal from the inside out when we learn to love all aspects of ourselves. She shares why she feels inspired to serve and mentor highly sensitive people in today's world and they speak to the power of validation for empaths and the importance of redefining the word, 'strength'. We learn more about her writing process, the synchronicities with this book and what it feels like to have it out in the world.

This was EXCELLENT. I think Anita is my long lost sister. All you spoke of is correct. We need the empaths to take up leadership roles and teaching and healing centers for psyche's and souls. In truth, Prez Biden is a Empathy. He is very tuned into people's pains and losses. It took bravery to pull out of Afghanistan. Empathy and sensitivity is the strength we need in the world now. 💞

As a sensitives, we have to establish our own space and to discern between our energy/our space and outside world/ other people vibes. And learn how to clean our space from other peoples energies. It helps A LOT! Be in your own space, stay there and don’t try to heal the world before yourself!

I also learned that when I attempted to help, I was giving away MY energy, which depleted me. I never thought to obtain the unlimited Divine energy so that I could "channel" it to those in need. This realization, as well as the realization that I could put up a geometric, divine shield between me and others' energies when I was feeling overwhelmed, empowering me to be "me", instead of the shrinking violet that I had become. Like when one assists a drowning person, be sure you throw out a life vest ahead of yourself, lest they panic, grabbing you down with them. For, if you are not prepared, you will only put yourself in harm's way as well.

Thank you Lee and Anita! I have taken online workshops from Lee and I subscribe to his channel, I have taken in person workshops from Anita and have read all of her books! I can so relate to your journeys. I realized at a young age that I was just so different from everyone else. I discovered much about myself when I took the Enneagram Personality Test and the Meyers Briggs Personality Test. This helped me tremendously in understanding how different personalities process life! I too am an empath and I have been able to grow to the point where I am no longer a doormat and I can set boundaries with other humans! I can actually say "no" lol!!! One thing that I am currently doing online, is taking a class through Mind Valley with Jeffrey Allen about working with energy, clearing chakras, cleaning and protecting your aura, healing etc., and this has helped me move forward in life with a "fearless" ability to do so! I mention the above for those who are searching for tools for their Earth School Toolbox!!! Love to Lee and Anita, I adore you both!

Empath here. Pretty ill my entire life... learning to differentiate, separate & boundary over last 2 decades. Life's work! Great to listen to Anita here - and how she differentiates between Sensitives and Empaths. So often hear people talking about sensitivity - it's rarely helpful - but she's SO clear.

I had the most beautiful conversation with my neighbor and with another woman I adore in my neighborhood who was out walking her dog. The first neighbor took the time to meaningfully ask how I am (he is a sensitive guy and really awesome dad, but as an empath he struggles to stand up for himself or bring his gifts into the world outside his professional role. He has so many hidden talents, like painting and music! It meant the world that he asked. The woman is a beautiful school teacher and light worker and her kids are so lucky to have her! I was glad to be able to remind her of her light and her power!

Loved the interview! Anita Moorjani’s Dying to be me resonated a lot with me just the past year and will get her new book as well. I’m an empath and didn’t know it for the longest time but coming into a better realization of self care and standing in my power over the past few years. Empaths absorb so much subconsciously as Anita says trying to lessen others pain.I absorbed much emotional pain from my childhood family that has manifested as physical illness later in adult life. Sensitive to strong is quite a journey.

WOW have been a fan of Anita Moorjani since her first book 'Dying To Be Me' Today has been a revelation! Talk about light bulb moments. I am a really positive person, but of late have been angry, frustration etcetera without understanding why? I had identified myself an an empath quite sometime back, but today I really understand WHAT that means for the first time. I realized empaths take ON the energy around them, and that's why I am experiencing what is going on inside me. I have had Anita's latest book 'Sensitive is the New Strong' for weeks....and couldn't understand why I wasn't driven to read it yet? NOW I know I needed to see this interview today...THANK you. Also I am writing a book...and do exactly what Anita does, so that was an affirmation I am on the right path.

Beautiful truth and clarity Anita about giving our power away. Competing or fixing will never heal the planet. Empathic leaders will bring change if they are not afraid to stay open-hearted and speak out about building balancing behaviors in resolving inequality, creating global peace and world-care empathy fir all living beings, as you are both doing. We have to stay in our sovereign intuitive being, and in that modeling of this behavior, we will bless ourselves, so our energy uplifts and blesses everyone that we come into contact with each day, without harming ourselves. People pleasing and the fixer savior complex energies took me down physically and mentally and spiritually. This strange depleted energy was very scary. It led to finding Wayne Dyer and Louise Hay, who coached and taught like both of you do. This big crash in my life, led me to retire, to slow down, to pay attention to self care and yo healing modalities like EFT, Reiki, Qigong, art therapy, working for The International Global Art Exchange for Peace, walking/grounding in Nature; or by using life long learning to expand and to grow. I've found the arts, astrology, meditation, mantras, music, writing and reading to help me clear chakras and feel joy and by listening to lovely empaths and kind people like you for guidance. What a gift. Thank you Lee for this deeply beautiful conversation with Anita.

In summary, “I realize some people don’t relate to empaths, and they push back.” Thank you so much for helping me figure out my marriage. Lee, your comment about going beyond gender norms hit a spot with me. When the video started, I was looking at you and seeing you are doing just that. And it’s true: the more we work outside the box, and go beyond into multi-dimensionality, the more the world will stabilize us. This is so much needed NOW.

This is lovely confirmation from you both, thank you... I was many time's advised by spiritual Utubers to quit my job and do something more purposeful but I luckily listened to my inner guidance, for I am a hairdresser and as I awakened and lost many clients for being very transparent through my remembering who I am, I reckognised that I was already on purpose doing hands on energy work working with clients over souls, I get a nudge when their oversoul allows me to shift energy for them. Being an Empath has been a challenge until a few years ago when I started understanding why I am here. Also this interview helps me more understand why we have so many drug and alcohol problems as many people need to shut their empathy down due to a lack of understanding and acceptance, I also help many addicts understand that they are not crazy, one of my hair clients told me she was see'ing people and had her kids taken away and she got locked up because she was crazy because they blame the drug's, I held her and I'm helping her understand she is an Empath, my LOVE is also in this situation too and he is affraid of my spiritual talk so I just send love. It's a blessing to be here helping the collective in our special ways. Thank you both ❤

I love this interview and info Anita shares!! Would you also consider interviewing author, Penney Peirce too? In her book Frequency and she writes on this topic too, how to use sensitivity to tune in and navigate this time. Such important information! Thank you!

I DO remember the term empath being used years ago, but it was usually in a negative, doormat connotation, that it was the spineless version that one wanted to avoid, vs. "regular" sensitivity and healthy connection. I'm happy that you can use the word, reclaiming the positive aspects and teaching how to anchor into physical reality and learning to differentiate one's own feelings and boundaries. (Also, I just took the quiz on A.M's page - no surprise! ❤️🌳)

This has got to be one of my favorite of your interviews Lee - two sensitive souls in a super powerful exchange! Anita’s story brought tears to my eyes . I’ve just ordered « sensitive is the new strong » - can’t wait to read it. Thank you both 🙏💕

WOW, really amazing stuff guys. Lee I can relate to the story about your grandmother. Anita love what you said about not just seeing those who win at all cost as the ones who are more strong. The loving qualities are the strengs that will uplift the world. I love the saying" Love is the only thing that is real"

What should we see in these ruthless, competitive people. What are they called? I experience that with my commercial sales. The buyers that are investors are ruthless and competitive!! What are those types ?? This is so interesting !!! I always knew I was different . And now I know the term!! Thank you for this wonderful video. ❤️ Sooo powerful!!
