A special re-edit of the 2013 all Ford Granada Banger Race event at the Arena Essex Raceway. The meningitis charity event that saw a huge sum raised and a great celebration of Arena Essex Banger Racing which saw many rivalling drivers and teams come back from retirement to take part.
This special video is a highlights mix of the full event, with intro sequence, interview with the meeting mastermind 10 Paul Whiteman, the multi camera race edit highlights with iconic race commentary from Rob Porter. Plus extra race winner interviews not shown on the original DVD. Then a slow motion ending sequence. What a day after going down to Arena most weekends in the 80s & 90s was so good to see many drivers return to the track.👍🏻😎

What a cracking weekend, we were lucky to witness one of the greatest banger meetings of all time and was alsdo one of the sponsors of the grid girls. We still have Beckys top and the programmes hanging on the wall at the garage.

I was at this, great to watch it again thanks Impact Video's brought back memories and it's a shame Arena Essex has gone but I live up in Skegness now and go there now..

I was actually at this meeting a decade ago, one of my favourite banger racing meetings of all time and even bought this meeting on Blu-ray. That was how special it was. I miss arena essex. 😢

Heres me trying to find a Granada to restore and these blokes are smashing them up for fun even Ghia coupes this makes me sad cant they smash up modern cars

Salty much I bet people like u had plenty opportunities to buy all those cars but didn’t then u moan when other people do there money bought the car so they can do what they want with them

Well tbf all cars that are used for bangers are all scrap cars so they probs have been written off and sat in a scrap heap so what else do u think gonna happend just wipe ur tears mate u clearly bothered that much if u haven’t bought any there’s still loads of Granada shells about that would be sold for the right price
