If Sep-2023 is selected - New customers for Sep -2023 is All customers till 30 sep - all customer til 31st Aug. So this is nothing but all customers who transacted less or before max date of sep 2023 which is 30th sep - all customers who transacted before min date of sep 2023 (before 1st sep)
