The video where he strips to his boxers in the ring is an even better example of this. For the first minute of it he almost seems like he's having an off day and then the jacket comes off and it's jet flyin time.

So Ric Flair was doing an impression of Jay Lethal who was doing an impression of Macho Man while doing an impression of the legendary wrestler known as the Nature Boy. Easily one of the best promos in TNA and stands tall among all the classics from any company. Jay Lethal delivered a grand slam with this one, going out with no real idea of what to do but to do his Flair impression in front of fans. The fans loved it, Jay had a blast, Ric himself loved it and even cracked with the rare "jumping on" line. Credit due to the cameramen and production crew to get the right shots at the right time. Now, play this again, close your eyes and see if you can still tell the difference between Flair and Lethal.

Lethal sounded like retro 80s NWA/WCW Flair with the World Championship Wrestling backdrop, dark sunglasses, and big gold belt. He nailed it perfectly. "Younger guys are stronger, faster, AND HEY, they're 60-minute men, Daddy!" 😂
