My grandma is from Aksaray and she used to breed those dogs „for fun“ - cuz she loved their caring and attentive character. She‘s 90 y/o and owns 12 purely bred malakli or kangal dogs - and loves each of them like her own children. She gives them hugs and kisses every morning before feeding them raw meat from her farm - whereas I would be scared to go near them. Awesome, that those dogs get so much attention from you. 🙏🏼

is sled pulling good for these dogs? not for competition...i get it that the best dogs for that are low to the ground tanks like bulldogs and pitts. But just for health and fitness would hooking them up to a crossfit sled and having them pull weight they can manage.....good or bad?

@@shogunimperiallionsforthec5720 i mean i figured they could but i didnt want to mention it cause some peoole on the internet get touchy with hooking dogs up to things. I just rem reading certain breeds, even if big, u shouldnt have sled pulling. Hip structure aint right for it ir something...i dunno. But i rem seeng a kang on youtube pulling a tractor. Didntblook like the most efficient puller...but seemed to ve fine doing. Just wo dering if they were a breed thats good for that... u ever have ur dogs pull?

I understand. In turkey these dogs are working dogs and the way they do things are different than us in the states but I totally get it because you’re right I see it all the time.

@@shogunimperiallionsforthec5720 obviously they do it in Turkey just to show off these dogs but that aint their main job ur right. I was just wondering cause if u own one in the states....and dont have a farm for em.....could not sled pulling be like kinda good for them? im not asking cause id want to put one in any ki d of pulling comp....but if i got one if these dogs, they're like my dream animal, id want to give them some kind of "substantial" physical excercise beside running around. ive read up on this breed quite a bit and they are not standard issue stuff. Im not gonna be one of these large breed owners that keep these dogs in a small apt all day then take em on a walk 1-2 times....that aint enough for em.

They all come from me in America bro or my partner I introduced the breed to America 10 years ago and everybody that we gave the dogs too had a situation that was great for the breed.

@@shogunimperiallionsforthec5720 oh ur a moore? im adopted so im not 100% certain whats all in my libeage but i know one side of my libe and its southern Italian. I get dark the i stant i see sunlight and hardly ever burn.....i read southern wops like me got moore in our DNA.
