Imperial Holdout - A Lego Star Wars Stop Motion

Following the destruction of the Death Star at the Battle of Yavin,
The Empire finds its authority under question by the Galaxy.
None so much as in the Outer-Rim,
Where the remains of an Imperial Garrison must fight with their backs against the wall as they desperately await reinforcements from sector command...
NOTE: I upgraded my camera during the filming of this project which is why the footage quality may seem inconsistent

This is easily one of the best Lego Star Wars stop motions I have watched so far. I like the idea and the way you can just watch without getting confused by all the things happening! Keep up the good work.

This is cool, one minor thing that bugged me tho was that Id see dudes in the back standing and not doing anything, but other than that things were smooth and it was easy to understand what was going on

I loved this!The voice lines were amazing,I love all the brick arms weapons you used and the blaster effects and sounds.Another thing I loved is how you used different types of storm troopers in it.(like the mortar trooper and heavy stormtrooper)One question:what did you use to make your blaster effects?

Thank you for your comment! For this animation, I used a small coloured light which I shined on the blaster during the filming process(this was to create the glowing effect). I then added the lasers in post using 'GunMovieFX‘. Hope that answers your question :)

This is very nice, I have an suggestion though. Perhaps add backround things as well as people shooting in the backround. The Troopers throwing the Grenades.

This takes place before Return of the Jedi though so it isn’t really the ruins of the Empire.
