Imperial dreadnaughts always had such an imposing stature around them. They really were head turners . Especially when you see them depicted. A good video would be one were you maybe talk about what dreadnaught you would design if you were a Kuat drive yards ship designer. This idea could work for star destroyers, picket ships, fighters etc. Great vid as always

Legends vessel crew requirements are bullshit: the 12km long mandator 3 class has a crew of 28,000 while ISDs require crews in the 40-50k range, and then the several hundred meter long Imperial 2 class frigate has a crew of 19,000 while the 900m Victory SD with multiple times the firepower has crew requirements in the 5-6k range. None of this makes sense. At least the Rendili Stardrive Dreadnaught's ridiculous 16k crew for its size makes sense, but that's only because Zahn set up lore for the ship to make the crew size a plot point in the first place, all to make the Katana's 2k crew stand out that much more as a seperate plot point to further accentuate Thrawn's skill as a strategist and tactician; ie it wasn't just the nearly 200 fresh mid-size capital ships he could add to the Imperial fleet at a time when they desperately needed capital ships that made the Katana fleet so appealing to Thrawn, it was that the Empire would also be able to crew and field them despite its, at the time, extremely limited resources, manpower and logistics because of the low crew requirements of the Katanas (iirc it's pointed out in the book that if they'd been standard Dreadnoughts instead of Katanas, then aquiring the fleet wouldn't have done Thrawn any good because trying to field nearly 200 of them would have tied up more manpower than they would have been worth to him as combat assets). Side note: iirc, I think that was the only time crew sizes specifics like that ever really came up inside any legends story, I think the rest of the numbers come from things like legends rpg sourcebooks). But yeah, none of the Legends crew sizes for these capital ships seem to make the least bit of sense when you stand back and look the them as a whole, but that probably has something to do with the way they were added piecemeal to the lore over such a long stretch of time.
