Import MP3 File to iTunes on PC (Issue Fix)

If you are having issues importing audio files such as MP3 or others to iTunes this video should help you. I was experiencing this issue when I was trying to import some MP3 audio files to my PC and could not figure out the issue. Apparently, MP3 files are not compatible with iTunes. In this video I show you how to easily convert it to a audio type that works with iTunes (M4A). This is a very quick tutorial/work around and I am confident this will fix your issue.

I cried tears of joy! thank you so much! I have so many mp3 files and couldn't get them into my Apple Music on my MacBook. I was so afraid id have to redownload everything, because im not a tech savvy person & feel like I don't know what I'm doing most days. What about larger files that won’t convert to M4A format? Is 7Z RAR TAR TAR.BZ2 or TAR.ZG compatible with iTunes?

I'm having trouble, I have some wav files that can be copied to itunes and even appear on my phone, but the artwork for the album doesn't loads, The files are not selected as read only and I can change all the other album info and the add artwork button isn't grayed out :c

Not sure as to why this recently happened, but yes you can delete the mp3 files just be sure to keep the m4a files.

I purchased a backup iPod touch 7. I noticed that the folder that looked like the iTunes folder is now a Apple Music folder?! So when I drag and drop on my pc to the playlist folder it doesn’t work. I have to manually add them with this stupid Apple Music which I’m not subscribing to. Not sure why both iPods are 7th generation, but the 128gb is different than the one I just purchased which only has 32GB. The other one was purchased I think two years ago? The RED one I just bought a couple weeks ago.
