He did only open donations in which he agreed with the parents that they would tell the kids about his identity. It is actually a risk involved in choosing a donor father. Donors having many kids happens a lot actually. Even by organisations who claim to use one donors’ sperm for a limited group of women only. Also happened often that these donors were and are unknown. There was even a doctor before who secretly donated his own sperm all the time while telling parents lies about the characteristics of their supposed donor. Making lots of money. The people making money here are still the sperm banks and Netflix. From his side he has limited the possibility for inbreeding. Also he helped people so they didn’t have to pay thousands of euros, be on a waiting list and use frozen sperm. Netflix did the best they could to paint a very one sided story. They are famous for that. Making money with sensational stories.. not taking human lives into account. If he would have cooperated with their ‘docu’ they would have def cut his contribution to make it come across differently. I’d say it’s too many kids with this DNA. It isn’t favourable. Also it isn’t against the law. There was no financial drive for him though. No exploitation. He and the kids are actually exploited by Netflix now. Netflix should be sud maybe. They do this so often and should get some decent ethics in place. Human lives over profit.

I do not talk with them a lot about this, that is because I have my private life separated from my donor life. Even though I am in contact with many of the parents and children, they will never see the rest of my family. They want that and I want it to be separated.

I was very sad for him and I started to read about sperm donation and found is very beautiful to help out others, also there was a big shortage in the Netherlands.
