Thank you TennisTV for this lovely compilation! 2005 was the first year when Federer and Nadal both dominated the tour. Each won an amazing 11 titles each.

Amazing year for tennis, one of the best. The field was stacked and all of them in good level for a part of the year: Federer, Agassi, Nalbandian, Safin, Hewitt, Roddick, Davydenko, Coria, Ljubicic, González, Gaudio, Ferrer, Ferrero. The next gen were the likes of Nadal, Berdych, Gasquet, Ancic, Monfils, Verdasco. What would I give for a next gen like this in 2015, not to mention now.

Thanks for posting this, lots of fun to watch. It would be even better if you would post the names of the players and the tournament at the top left corner, so that everyone knows what they're watching. I recognise all these players, but not everyone was watching tennis back in 2005.

Was this era as amazing as it seems to me or is it that I'm old and feeling nostalgic? Safin, Hewitt, Kuerten, Federer, Roddick, Ferrero, Henman, Nalbandian, Coria, Agassi, Moya, Gonzalez. Anyone could win any week from 2002 to 2005.

We can't really say that the general standard of tennis has improved in the almost 20 years since 2005.
