Joel usually looks like he's enjoying himself. Randy usually looks like he's climbing mount Everest. Some people were born to do this. Joel is one and Molly is another. And maybe Kennedy, Chestnut, probably some others. Randy looks like it's killing him but he claims he's in good health. Adam Richman was another one that looked like the food challenges were killing him. I guess it's the same as a great athlete, some people were born to be good at certain sports. LeBron James, Tom Brady, etc. Not discounting hard work, just pointing out competitive eaters can have genetic potential just like athletes do.

Next time try eating the Jalapeño before the coleslaw and bread. The creaminess of the slaw and the texture of the bread will help to neutralize the spicy sting of the pepper.

At least up in the Panhandle of the state, we do lots of sweet tea, BBQ, Crawfish boils, fish fry's etc. Country food, fishing, hunting and lifted pickup trucks - we live in what we call the "Redneck Riviera"!
