A scissor vise! I made this vise because I hadn't seen it before and was curious to see how it would work out. I would not recommend making this vise, as there are far simpler designs that work just as well or even better and that are far less involved to make. I've strayed off the beaten path on this one just to see what was down it, which is a pretty poor criteria upon which to make a design choice.
