The double lift is one of the hardest moves for me. It always ends up where I slide the card underneath out too much or when it flips back over it slides off, it's in no way a beginner level move in my opinion

Just flip your thumb through the deck and make a break between the first two. There u go. Easy double lift.

Pinch them together while they are braced up against your other hand. Grab the cards holding opposite sides of the cards so they can't slide.

I learned to do a double lift by just grabbing the cards by the opposite corners, and putting a ever so slight curve into them. Works every time. The hardest thing is grabbing two cards for me.

idk, the part where he said "no gimmicks or tricks to it" seemed pretty unnecessary, considering how he immediately went on to show two tricks that require watching two more of his videos to actually have a full in-depth tutorial... not even hating, btw, i agree that this is a fantastic tutorial and it's actually smart to compartmentalize the tricks themselves into different videos -- just saying it was pretty unnecessary and disingenuous to be like "no tricks or gimmicks here" haha, it's literally a card trick

I have a way to hat a better reaction! Instead of shuffling after you put “thier card” in the middle of the deck, just say “so I just put your card in the middle of the deck, but now I’m gonna bring it back to the top” and then snap your fingers and reveal the top card 😂 the spectator will go nuts!

Easy card tricks. Did one few years back, and long story short. Bunch of kids, full moon. I said "look outside, full moon. And I can only do this once every full moon" 😂 cards obviously.... Sat down with the kids, told one of them to pick a card. Their card hidden in my hand. Told 3 of them to shuffle, showed them the top. Then hidden card placed on top, and picked up air, dropped it on top of the card. Told one of them to look at it. It was their card. I got "ohh's!! & Awww's!!" that's all I wanted. 😂 😂 😂 one of them told me to try again, I said only next full moon. 😂 😂

Problem with this is when I force the card slide it makes a big sound, and it reveals that I made a gesture. How do you make to fast but smoothly wiithout wooshing noise. Does it depend on cards?
