This simple full stack coding project built with Python got me interviews at many Big Tech companies. It is a simple data scraping project with pandas and BeautifulSoup that a lot of people might include on their resumes.
The key is it is a full stack application, where the back end is built with SQL and Spring Boot, and the front end is built with ReactJS. A full stack application demonstrates your diverse skill stack, as well as immense technical flexibility. This is a highly sought after skill set both in Big Tech companies, and especially at Startups.

Thanks for the video. It really helped a lot!! I just have question. How long did it take you to learn ReactJS, springboot and SQL to actually do a project?

GREAT video I want to have your take on the following subject matter: I was wondering about the process through which the employers examine your projects...I mean assuming the following case, what do you think I should do? Assuming that I am having a full-stack website, that is hosted and fully functional, and I am applying for jobs, BUT 1. It is a side-hustle of mine, a very promising one, and I don't want to share the code. Do I have to show the code base to them? 2. Assuming that they are OK not to show them the code base, then how do they verify that I actually the one who have written it??? These questions might be dumb I know, but they emerge from the fact that I have not yet applied to any developer jobs, and currently working on my projects, which I intend to continue to develop, but still need the developer job to sustain my living.

It took me around 1 to 2 weeks. The longer part was learning the new frameworks for sure.

I am almost completely new to coding and software development. So far, I only know C and C++. Aside from learning more and different coding languages, where would I even start to begin something like this?
@SWErikCodes
@SWErikCodes 8 ай бұрын
First, I will be releasing a few tutorials for all aspects of this project so stay tuned! For your own growth, I would recommend starting to learn Python as this is the most common and easiest language in my opinion. Watch some YT videos, do some beginner projects, and keep learning every day until you achieve what you want! Keep up the good work
