6:00 That was used to be the barbershop where I had my hair cut before pandemic when I was still working in office in SCBD area. Now, after 1.5 years working from home, I kinda miss my barber. They recently renovated to the fancier place just months before first lockdown began in April 2020. It must have been a pretty bad time for any barbershop, let alone the ones who just recently renovated. Even as I am fully staying working from home far in the suburb, my favorite go-to mall in Jakarta is still Pacific Place and that Kem-Chick supermarket in the basement. 11:17 Thats not the only CoCo store in Jakarta, when it was firstly opened, the queue was pretty long. I was introduced to the first Coco store actually in Supermal Karawaci in Tangerang Area, the one you just saw in Pacific Place was actually one of the newer ones.

Every big mall at Jakarta, they have different and very interesting specs. Wow.......that's really cool. 👍👍🏻👍🏽 If you have a complete bookstore in the city of Surabaya, you can get it at Gramedia Bookstore at the south part of Tunjungan Plaza 1-6.

Mani pedi with gel is only about $35!?! Heaven for me! 😄 Here in HI, it will cost me $70-80 + 5% sales tax + 15% tips 🥴

In Jakarta, you could find many good shopping malls. You could also try to visit "Senayan City Mall" which is not too far from SCBD area, there is also a lot of restaurants in that mall (basement area).

SOME A FEW YEAR I HAVE TO FLIGHT TO SINGAPORE ONLY TO BUY GARRET POPCORN...AND NOW IT'S ALREADY OPEN STORE IN JKT...EVERYTHIG YOU NEED AND WANT YOU CAN FIND IN JKT NOW...😄😄😄

You must try explore Mall Taman Anggrek...the biggest mall in Indonesia...and play ice skating at there.

This area is so posh! The buildings are so modern and glassy..

near ASHTA, you will find KFC Naught by Nature. this is a KFC dine-in but with its own uniqueness. if you walk around the Senopati area, you will also find many cool hangout places, such as Three Buns, Cheongdam Garden, Pantja, Doughlab, Le Quartier, The Gunawarman. Have Fun! :)

Try going to Senayan City (for general brands) and Senayan Plaza (for high end brands). Only 30 minutes walk from your apartment. I can guarantee, you will like them. Enjoy Jakarta!

Ah Pacific Place. I like that place, it's my first choice if want to meet with friends or colleagues. The ambience is very calm ans comfy, not crowded with people (could be bcs not the peak time)

if you don't mind how much you pay for apartment in SCBD, did you got it from air BnB or other online website? since i'm planning to visit Jakarta next year, and looking to rent around that area. and i like the area where you at now, which is between South and Central Jakarta. i used to stay at the tree house at setia budi about 5 minutes from SCBD its a nice hotel only 3 stories building but no view.

Go to Central Park Mall n Neo SOHO.. they have aquarium inside the mall..

Pacific place definitely the luxury one in SCBD, but actually the meal and restaurant is still in affordable price 👍🏻👍🏻
