Ive noticed the blades got up to speed faster than what u would normally see. Do turbine engine pilots get to add more fuel or smtg to control the startup speed?

I will say, there is a difference between watching it, and walking up to it and flying in it, i my self was lucky enough to fly in a CH-47 at Raf Benson with the Raf Air Cadets
