I am amazed at the number of people going through the work area. In Canada the road would have been closed and the area flagged off and guarded so that no one came into the work area. Work boots (No flip flops for sure) hard hats, safety glasses and work vests would have been required for all on site

An accident waiting to happen. You are absolutely correct, OSHA would have a hay day writing up fines for hours. Where to begin there were so many gentleman riding up on the crane to unhook the cable rite down to the oil and hydraulic fluid and everything you mentioned and then some. I’m a heavy equipment operator by trade and that was scary to watch, the United States sends these second and third world countries almost all they’re equipment and they don’t have a clue how to operate any of it. They don’t know what these pieces of equipment are capable of doing ( handling ) and in turn they destroy a lot of what is sent over there. I have seen a lot of videos here on KZfaq, how they load and offload the equipment is a shining example, it’s really sad because a lot of the equipment is brand new or slightly used. Stay Safe. 2-6-2024 You would think that someone would go over there to train these people how to operate the machines properly. It’s sad.
