Most consistent bowlers over a long period would have to be Curtley Ambrose and Glen Mcgrath. Many others can claim to be consistent and they were but these 2 proved consistency over a long period

Virat kohli used to tap his bat on ground just before he does his trigger but he doesn't do do that anymore in test cricket. He does do that last minute tap on ground just before bowler release the ball only occasionally now in odis and t20. But when he was in his peak he regularly do that last minute tap on the ground and that gets the momentum going on his batting and also gets him in to a slightly lower head position. What is your take on this
