Improve your (piked) frontlever with these 3 exercises!✅👇🏼
1️⃣Assisted Frontlever Holds:
This exercise is great to specifically train your body the right form and technique for the frontlever hold. Use a resistance band that will allow you to hold the position with perfect form for a minimal of 10 seconds before getting a thinner band.
2️⃣Dragon Flags:
This isometric exercise strengthens your core and teaches you to fully tense your body which helps with keeping a nice and straight line in the frontlever. Go down as deep as you can and try to hold the position for 10-15 seconds, focusing on a straight line from your shoulders to your heels!
3️⃣ Isometric frontlever hold with foot on floor:
This exercise is a very effective yet unknown exercise that builds up strength for the full frontlever while also being able to focus on technique. Find a lower bar and walk into a frontlever position. From there, raise one leg tense your whole body so that you mimic the frontlever as much as possible. The foot that is on the floor is your assistance in order to scale the intensity of the exercise. Too light; put that foot further away and take away some of the pressure. Too hard; keep the foot close and put a lot of weight on it. Perform this hold for at least 15 seconds!

I’ve been training front lever with a band and slowly adding in lighter and lighter resistance. It’s really a game changer and I’ve seen good gains within a couple of weeks 💪🏽

I dont think that the last exercise works. also dragon flags are a good exercise but in frontlever the core is rarely the problem. the issue is most likely that your lats arent strong enough. just keep training.

I agree last exercise looks not so great but I guess if you are actively pulling to your waist as much as you can and trying to lift your foot into the front lever it can target right muscles

Bad 👎 thing the first assisted band will help you a lot you can chose some light band 5kg if u want improve 2nd dragon flag will help u to get some abs the last will be do nothing

i can maintain the front lever around 3-7 seconds depending on days dragon flags arent helping me much im pretty close to world record on it and barely helps i think u need to strengthen your back with weighted pull ups im at 27 reps dragon flags and 5lbs each leg leg werights 10 reps and isnt improving my front lever much
