Improve Your Mixes With Dynamic EQ In Ableton Live

In this Ableton Live tip, we are going to be using the envelope follower and eq 8 to create a dynamic EQ. This is a simple and subtle way to get a little more room in your mixes and make sure that you can hear all the elements of your track clearly.

If you don’t have envelope follower, another thing you can do is automate the gain on the eq bands by drawing them in manually. Then Insert it into a return track for parallel dynamic eq’ing. It’s a bit more labor but it works.

You can also use it on the same channel to reduce resonances. Beautiful technique, huge thanks❤️

@@flakuso4739 if you hear any resonances in your signal, you can find them with a really narrow EQ band, and than you send this signal as shown in the video to the second EQ.
