Hey Mark. I’d like to see you revisit this topic of attack angle in putting and loft. Good stuff!

Love the video Mark. You do an excellent job of explaining the numbers so that we can understand how to apply those findings to our own games.

The SAM Putt Lab is really cool. I tried it recently and there's a lot of revealing information from the computer. However, on the course, it's a different story. It's much harder to keep the mechanics steady.

What are your thoughts when it comes to "release" in the putting stroke, is this a myth?

@matt moorcroft: if he's going have a guest on the show, he should let the guest speak - there is a reason he is there and it's not to stand there and nod his head over and over. It's like having a guest on a Late Night Show and then having the Host tell stories instead of the Guest. I like Mark's videos, but he does need to be more respectful/aware of his guest's interest to get a few words in if he is going to invite them to the video for informational purposes.

Thanks for all the comments made guys and thanks to anyone who watches. These videos have one message and that is to try and get your guys to hole more putts and Glenn and myself dont care who presents this message to the camera. Hopefully the viewers might understand that the camera work is my job and the video is a joint message from Glenn and myself. Loads more to come so we will get you lowering your scores this year. :)

Cant see how you make this video work really mark. Wasn't really down to putting the ball in different ways, it was more down to how hard you hit the first putt.

I cannot stand a locked wrist method, it's not a natural method and creates tension in a lot of people. If you were to roll a ball underarm your wrist are part of that movement and it's the same with putting; they should be soft and relaxed and break a little through the stroke. Now I'm not suggesting they become too active and flip in any way just that they should be supple and soft. Check out Loren Roberts on here and see his hand in pocket drill. he could putt a bit.

There are a few factors in how to play golf better. One place I discovered that successfully combines these is the Gavs golf tactic (google it if you're interested) it's the most helpful guide that I've heard of. look at the unbelievable information .

where do you position the ball in your stance when putting?

I know this is late reply, but it is where ever in your stroke you square the putter face. A good reference point is your breastbone (sternum). I personally like to have the shaft of my plumbers neck putter at the center at my sternum.

why is loft important to get roll... on your rolled putt your clubs flat and in the middle. the chipped putt had no chance to roll...
