Wish you a lot of luck on your youtube journey. I have been a professional film and video editor for many years. I used to be able to hire people to deal with audio. Now I have to learn to do everything. Audio is elusive. Please keep posting videos about using the various tools available to mix audio for videos and films. Please make an in depth video about vocal eq for male and female speakers and getting musical frequencies out of the way of the dialogue.

Hey David, thanks! Good suggestion of a video topic. The things shown in this video is pretty general to get a better voice sound, hope it helps a lot. Male or female vocals dont matter that much, they all have their own idiosyncrasies. Best is to do vocal mixing a lot so you learn how to work on each individual vocal the best.

hello, thank you very much for the video. When I normalize it to -16 lkfs, in the loudness graph (present in the fairlight), it's always getting above of -16kfs by +10. in the settings my target loudness level is set to -16 lufs. So why the normalize is not taking place? thank you for your time
