In figures that big a dry brush of any silver tone make the figure look better

@@SpruesNStuds I agree, but I’m staying away from that bigger scale. I’m an old Space Wolves warhammer fan from the 80’s, and got sucked into it again when I discovered JoyToy around December 2022, I have all the 1/18 Wolves figs minus the 2 Dreadnoughts and the Invictor, one day I’ll have them too hehehe. I’ve bought multiples sets and have been kitbashing them like crazy. Trying not to count how much I’ve spent, I try to buy most on sales and used on eBay. It’s getting out of hand but I’m loving every minute of it.

@@SpruesNStuds If you're gonna do it again, I strongly recommend drybrush instead of lining. But it depends on the look that you want to achieve. This one in particular is just like the Eavy Metal miniature, but BIG. So it is great!

Why thank you! I don't think I am a master painter. I'd say slightly above average. There are some other people that would blow me out of the water

Beautiful, great paint job dude. 100% better whit all the techniques we know. GW paints saving the day. I loved the finished look, very rich in color. I will do the same to my mcfarlane figures. The only technique i missed here was drybrushing, it adds a lot of realism to the figures. Nice work, keep going!!

Much appreciated! I really like how the action figure looks now after the custom treatment. As for dry brushing, idk if that technique would work that well with the hard lines and armor panels on the marine. Dry brushing would work awesome on fur, pelts, and other surfaces that are the rough. I'd think that a Space Wolf pelt cape would be a good candidate for dry brushing

Haha for sure dry brushing would have been easier (and a lot less frustrating). Those edge highlights damn well near drove me insane lol

I'm flattered that you'd ask me to do a commission. As of right now, my plate is a bit full juggling the channel and a full time job. Maybe later on when things settle down
