i think i might have something pretty good for target acquisition: when sitting at my desk i grab my pistol onehanded and randomly pick out a target in the room, then quickly get my sights on it. the trick here is not to overthink which target youre picking, but immediately aim at the first thing that comes to mind. if you do this right its shockingly similar to quickly reacting to an enemy popping up on the field, which is a valuable skill to have, ive had people jokingly call me a wallhacker after i took them out when i ran out into them. just try not to horrify your housemates when doing this ;)

Another important factor to consider is whether or not you wear gloves. Gloves changes the size, grip, and dexterity of your hands which changes the way you handle magazines and weapons. If you regularly wear gloves when you play, try practicing with them on.

Everything said is spot on, I would add however learning the 'nuts & bolts' of your weapon before you ever take a shot. You'd be surprised how understanding a weapons function inside/ out/ back/ front can increase your comfort & confidence when handling said weapon thus making you much more effective with it.

Hey Vincent, again a very neat clip to share, thanks again for all your effort. I personal train mag changes getting up from low and high ready and walking posture to shoulder changes at least three (one in full gear, specialy because i use the WarQ helmet, so to get used to the different cheek weld on your gun) times as week. That works very neat and specialy the fast and consistant changes to your off side during game, are a large advantage.

I'm a veteran airsofter and I do real steel training aswell, there is NO reason to switch hands with a pistol (if you use a proper 2 hand grip) you'll have the same distance to target and just as much exposure either way aswell you'll be compromising accuracy by shooting off hand. I have only shot 1 handed once on the field and it was a duel where the dude ran out of ammo

Why would you put your left hand so far forward. If you look at skilled shooters who shoot for accuracy. You put your supporting hand on the CG point as this will allow more control and bring rifle up in line. That far forward is for recoil reduction on follow up shots under recoil. Airsoft there is no recoil so its best to concentrate on holding rifle for more accurate shots.
@torontoairsoft6036
@torontoairsoft6036 4 жыл бұрын
Many of us use airsoft to train for real shooting. It simply carries over, not to mention its not just about recoil control, its just better control overall. Go with what works for you, you wanna magwell grip, go right ahead but don't judge people who dont.

If they're going to have to get an understanding before they let you get into it, show them a few episodes of "Airsoftology". Also.....get your dad to join you at the field. Dads love it too. TorontoAirsoft yes I know it’s magpul, as I’ve seen the DVDs and international sniper competition dvd, oh and I spent 5yrs in the army, so I know professional weapons training, which is not the same as airsoft weapons training, balancing mags between ur fingers

@@richardtodd5418 so if you knew it was Magpul why did you type mag pull? And if you have years of "real weapons training" what the fuck are you even doing looking at a hobbyists tip and trick video? You spend most days just looking to be an asshole? Hope you get a little more positivity in your life bud.
