Beautiful. Am amazed how much life reel to reel techniques seem to give. Currently searching for "the right sound" to put my music through (multitracked modular synth compositions). The Strymon Deco seems like a good start...but i don't know yet what will give me the right sound..

Ok so it was my understanding that 1/4”tape like this in a loop would degrade the signal and continue to gain more and more noise the more you record on it over and over on top of each other, but this just gets more delicious every round. What am I missing here? Also, amazing job, and you have exactly the synths and setup that I want!

Thank you so much. These loops are just recorded once, then played back & treated with effects. Eventually these loops would degrade, but it might take 1000's of plays to do so. If you were to keep recording over a loop using sound on sound to build layers or bypass the erase head, then it might sound as you describe - similar to how a tape echo works.
