Small chat is fine, I never felt like I'm missing out by not seeing it though as a vod-only viewer.

I'm sad Pearl-o isn't attached to the mountain. Magic Mountain feels like Boat' em 2.0, especially now that they are opening a hole to the void.

Things I think I noticed in the sound design (having gone back to check it out): - the minecraft noises ofc (pistons, creepers, water dispensers) - waves and maybe wind? But that might just be part of the ocean ambiance (I know from personal experience how hard it is to get a clean recording of waves lol) - maybe a little bit of reverb on the background music? Maybe not but it sounds like there’s a little somethin somethin put on there I really liked it, it was really well done! It definitely captures a vibe and a feeling really well, which is one of the more important parts of sound design (at least in my opinion).

i really appreciate being able to see the twitch chat in my vods, i watch several twitch streamers via vod because of timezones and even if its just a few lines of chat it really makes me feel a bit more included 😅 Thanks!

This serves no actual purpose, but I think all the non-american hermits should be given a blank map of the USA and have to name all the states from memory. Then, they compare their results. (and the audience gets to laugh) Then the Americans do it and compare their score

Impulse, I think the chatbox size is perfect for the vod! Not too small, but not too big either. Its perfect if you're gonna let that stay. I'm sure a lot of people liked to see chat as well, me personally I'm fine with or without chat. I'm just worried that it would take a lot of screen space that we hardly see anything in the video, but if its that size, the one you're using right now, that's perfect.

I always tab out and rewind if it sounds like something I need so see. So your 3:15 stream has taken me almost 5 hours to get through! I will not comment on my productivity for the day 😉

Two weeks behind! Woo! Anyway. The interesting thing about all those glowing spots under the map is those are all places near "exposed" bedrock where either lava, or player placed lights are shining through. A piece of bedrock won't obstruct a beacon because it doesn't count as a solid block, so it is entirely possible to have a beacon in the Nether if you really wanted one, for instance. You could go further with the Hole-Net infrastructure by actually making guide lines of light that point the way to specific places, even if you don't take all that time to break bedrock to mark it out because of the transparency for light filtering. There are 27 of you, though, so figuring out a coded stripe of light blocks for each that isn't more than 5 blocks long is going to be interesting if you also happen to agree with this 'guide lines' idea. 🤔 Because spacing, and info transmission to the brain under duress matters, a color code stripe longer than five might be too complicated to read accurately with ease, even if you fully trust yourself not to fall. Still--including lava itself, and backlit water--there's actually a lot of light blocks to choose from, so comp-sci boy Tango probably agrees you have more than enough for each of you, _and_ major sites like the shopping district. Of course, there's potential a brightly colored concrete block placed next to a light block might be visible from beneath, too, but I'm not going to count on it because it probably has that weird lighting thing that build height _used_ to have, so it would probably make them no more visible than 0 light cave darkness despite being placed right next to the brightest possible block in the game.

I'm usually able to catch most of your streams while live, since your streaming schedule lines up perfectly for me to play it in the background while I'm working, but I wasnt able to catch today. Very happy to see the VOD! Sadly, my phone screen size + general quality on mobile means I cant actually read the mini chat on screen. I do like having it there tho, bc it's small enough to not be obtrusive, and I can presumably read it if I go to my laptop :D And! I can still see the emotes fly by!

I love having the chat on screen, i love to watch you live on twitch when i get the chance, but between twitch buffering and my job is touch and go when i can tune in, i love being able to catch up on the vods and watch the podcasts here as well. Chat lets me catch up (sometimes see my own chats lol) and stay in the loop on the videos. Id love to ask tho if we could try making the font bigger? Even if we take away a line or two, its almost impossible to read, both on my phone and tv. Also i cant wait for my imp and skizz mug to come in!! Congrats on the 100 podcast and i cant wait for 200!! Stay amazing!!

you should try the tnt less bedrock removal where you spam a lever in a redstone grid

Found a method that lets you break bedrock easy without TNT. (No, its not the lag method!) You need a haste 2 beacon, a efficiency 5 diamond pickaxe, a small redstone contraption (super fast redstone clock), some pistons and some redstonedust. This method lets you break a chunk sized layor of bedrock in round about 35 minutes. I don't know if it works on Server. I have made a Video and a YTShort about this. I posted this to Doc mounth ago and to Zedaph last week...

To comment on your "soda"... Japan has a "soda" called Strong Zero that is also at 9.2%. When I visited Tokyo I had about 4 16oz tall boys and I think 2 12oz ones of flavors I was unsure of. This was on top of their local brew brands of "soda". It was a great night. For reference I am 5'6" and about 115lbs to 130lbs. Maybe it is the high tolerance German in me. The walk back to the store to restock was fun... lol
