This series is intended to help learners of Modern Standard Arabic who have at least completed the Gateway to Arabic Book Five to improve their listening and comprehension skills through a collection of short stories with an Islamic ethos from a book called ‘Room 101 and Other Stories’ written by Dr. Ahmad Bassam Saeh and translated into English by me. The book is available from our website gatewaytoarabic.com.
My plan is to divide each story into short episodes, each of which will begin with a reading of the Arabic text at a moderate speed. The same passage will then be revisited, this time with the English translation and an explanation of some key grammar points and vocabulary.

Great. I was waiting to come to England to get this book but now you have this new course I’ve decided to buy it (and just have!) without waiting any longer. I love your clothes by the way, as always.

I agree, the clothes are always very pretty and all the books worth buying. They are informative and pretty. I am currently only working through book 2 of gateway to arabic but I enjoy it every day.

@@juliap.1007 I found book 2 to be quite tough at times. Book 3 seems to be easier somehow. Let’s keep plodding on :-)

@ Sha ash, good to know that it will get easier, it's very hard for me but I always wanted to learn this beautiful language and the best teacher in the world, Dr. Imran Alawiye, did not turn up in my life till I was above 60. I enjoy every minute of his classes.
