I have been going to Mosport since I was a child. Ron Fellows and his group have put a lot of money into the track since it was purchased from Panoz, though I am not a fan of paving the outside of turn 2. It is quite a shame for a track considered one of the best in the world that the GTP will not be racing because of Detroit and Indy, both of which I consider horrible tracks. I remember in the height of ALMS, Trans-AM, NASCAR Trucks and others Mosport was a race everyone looked forwards to.

FWIW, I watched the LMP2's at Mid-Ohio recently and it was thoroughly enjoyable, will be a good race. Too bad about GTP not racing but oh well, this is a track that's always fun to watch.

IMSA gave Canadians the middle finger by taking away the GTP's. I haven't missed a race since 2013. Camped there every time with 10 friends. Not this time. I'm sure we're not the only ones not going thanks to IMSA wanting to bend over to Roger Penske by giving the race to that glorified go-kart track at Indy and that dump in Detroit.

First time I ran this track on Sports Car GT, I didn't think it was much to it, but it's a fun track to drive. There is a lot more to it than it looks.

Yeah the track map looks simple but the way that the elevation changes with the high speed corners makes it very tricky!

Detroit is such a disappointing street track. It's a real shame that GTP's wont race in Canada because of Detroit.

Yeah, next year Detroit should be an all GT race, or better yet never be on the schedule again. Lime Rock is a better track than Detroit. Idk, maybe if they would get the old F1 layout... But, I hated that track in the sims and games that have had it. lol.
