All MF tractors the AD 203 were in the MK 2 65 and first gen MF 165 1967 very good engines, Massey licensed a lot of tractors to eastern Europe and the middle east. that IMT is probably mid 70s Massey were using the AD 212 then.

The early 255 masseys came with the perkins 203 ci engine i had one they are pretty strong engines very good on fuel too my old boss called the IMT tractors. I AM TROUBLE but they not that bad

10-4 on the 255, the imt is ok, just does loader work around the farm now

Well you got something you can make work anyway. Don’t know much about the IMT’s I’ve never seen one up here. See tractor data shows it used an IMT branded 203ci engine, I guess they must be somewhat similar to the Perkins 203?

Imt tractor is made in yugoslavia (serbia Belgrade). We made imt and IMR and imt have imr engine. Perkins licenced. We made a lot of model.Sad story is the bad politic off the industry a very quality tractor who work and after 50 years. IMT IS LEGEND

Yes, it uses the IMR M34 which is a license built copy of the 4.203 (indirect injection). Pretty much everything is the same, except some of the screws which are metric, and some less important casting shapes (for example the oil filler tube). There is also a 565 which is the exact same tractor, only with a DM34, direct injection copy of AD4.203

It is produkt of Serbija form Jugoslavia if you now witch cantry I tok abaut. Here in Serbija that engine is marked as M34. I own one like that from 1985 and it stil runing wery vell but its 2 whele drive.Your's is bether its 4x4....

theres a tag on the valve cover, double check what it says. i bought this tractor for the 4x4

Sory if my tapyng on Englis is not so god,I only tayp in koment that engin on my 560 deluxe iz IMR M34 it's manufactured for our domestic market at that time.But for the export they have instal perkins engins and that hed resolt wit beter performans,more workin hours,ect...But on the end this our engins is lysens of masey or perkins that is alsow wery well. I'm in proces of bayng front well driwe for my tractor and instaling it, i'm shure il will be satisfyed like you whit your 4 whil driwe...

old farmer told me they where popular here in pennsyvania in the 80s. i bought it off neighbor farm 10 or so years ago. not sure where he got it.
