Remember though taxes are high and whatever you earn including from Uber is subject to taxes. People also sometimes prefer to rent houses because property related taxes are high. Expect to pay around $10,000 in property taxes in your area per year.

Yeah you have a good point. I have heard it’s because they don’t pay income tax in Texas that’s the reason property tax is so high. Is it true ?

@@Osmanahmed1 There is income tax in Texas too but some other forms of taxes are lower like sales tax etc. However on the other hand property related taxes are much higher compared to some other states. To be more correct there is no state induced income tax but you still have to pay the federal income tax. In other states you have to pay both state and federal income taxes.

Yea although taxes are high in the US but don’t forget you get something in exchange such as security, free schooling till 12 grade, medical insurance , clean drinking water, etc. these things are not offered in Pakistan nor India!

Yeah rents are cheaper than US but our US apartment are bigger in size than your UK apartment and US is much cleaner than UK for I have been to US and very muggy weather. USA is the best country in the World.
