Food for thought; what if Imu is a sentient Devil Fruit? We’ve seen inanimate objects gain the abilities of devil fruits, and also that there is a major link to Devil Fruits originating from peoples dreams/will. Likewise, the Gorosie* even commented on how Luffys Devil Fruit evaded the government as if it had a will of its own!!! We’ve also seen this possible in the video game.

I mean Imu being in the florian triangle (and having total control over that region) makes sense because a lot of dead characters from the other era (Ryuuma, Captain John, Oars etc.) are kept in Thriller Bark to conceal them from public. I think this is the case because once technology advances thanks to the pirates, there’s going to be a weapon that revives the dead. It only makes sense so that forces like the pirates can’t gain information/power through the old era pirates.

I think that laugh tale is inside the Florian triangle and Imu is protecting it. One thing that supports this theory a little is that doffy was ordered to kill moria by not sengoku but he said that 'someone much higher the ladder' and it could be imu......I mean why moria????I strongly believe that coz he was near to laugh tale/Florian triangle that's why.....And It can't be the gorosei's who ordered doffy to kill moria as doffy said 'someone (much) higher' One more thing that supports this theory is that ennies lobby,impel town and marineford is near to Florian triangle...I mean why 3 of the main government places so close? Fun fact: Imu Litterally means Umi in backwards, and there are Umibozu folklore monsters in Japan which prey on sailing ships. Imu also has a body shape similar to those Florian traingle monsters, as well as Umibozu. So the conclusion is, The Florian triangle monster is very similar to Umibozu. They or It is most likely commanded by Imu him/herself to maybe guard something. Why else would they be there? Imu also has Red Eyes, similar to those Florian Triangle monsters. The FT monsters absolutely dwarfed the Thriller Bark, so there's a possibility it/they might be the largest creature/s we have seen in OP, even larger than Zunesha. (Edit): In one of the latest chapters we can see that Imu took the form of Umibozu, so it cements this theory.

Luffy has not unlocked the full extent of his powers yet. Joyboy unlocked it and told Zunesha walk forever with the Mink kingdom on your back. Luffy should be able to not only bend reality but command other DF users, he is only limited by his imagination. He has the strongest God fruit, yes I said God fruit because IMU is a devil and is using the strongest Devil fruit, remember the world government changed history and the names of everything. Luffy can only die if he chooses to as seen with Kaido, killing Luffy is not an option. Luffy can only be defeated if he sees himself being defeated something IMU knows. But I have a feeling IMU is going to slip up and kill someone (Garp) close to Luffy and Luffy will only see victory dispite IMU's powers but will bring the dawn.

This is a good theory for Imu fruit. Even the name Umi is Imu spelled backwards.

Isn't there multiple Florian monsters so if emu was one her devil fruit couldnt be increasing in size because there are multiple? I don't think it's emu as well because she'd have to leave and go to the triangle unless it's her home because it's shrouded in eternal darkness?

Monkey D Garp & Gol D Roger vs Rox pirates on Gods valley (I'm assuming in Imu & Gorosei's back yard). Gol D Roger and Garp fought an Insane battle just to even get to Imu + Gorosei, yet they couldnt make it. Finally! When i read the spoilers that says the Gorosei have powers, i immediately went to the Florian Triangle but the comments i got was calling me stupid. All i said was that the monsters from Florian triangle could be some sort of foreshadowing for Imu and the Gorosei.
