Photographing farming in the Mid West of Western Australia.
A line between Geraldton and Mullewa was lucky enough to get 80mm at the end of Mar, giving residual moisture for the rest of the year, with the area gaining good average crops.
Most of these crops were still grown on 158mm of rain during the growing season.

Ben, you have some of the best still photos and videos that I have seen. Two questions, in some of your pictures you show some woody outcrops, are they rocky and the second is why the screens on the lower part of the windshields, to protect them from rocks? Thanks.

Rocky outcrops from an old river system. A lot of trucks have those screens and I imagine it’s to stop rocks.

There are a few 50' fronts, but they are JD or Case Int. I'll keep an eye out for them.

I would rather just listen to the noise of the machinery and surrounding environment you are working in rather than some sad American cowboy singer. That was my point. We are in the Aussie bush afterall.
