As I was a kid during the 80s, I was a HUGE fan living thru the slasher genre...Friday the 13th could have pulled thus off and it would've done EXTREMELY well, by the mid to the end of the 80s...85-89 we were basically rooting for Jason. HERES A FUN FACT to make you envious....in 1984 I was 9 , I actually talked my parents into taking me to see The Final Chapter Friday the 13th 4.....😂😂 TWICE!!!! Can you imagine?? In a packed theater. Final Chapter is and ALWAYS WILL BE the best Friday the 13th!!!!!!

I made it about halfway through the movie before I walked out of the theater. If you think that hiking is a spectator sport, than this movie is for you, but it wasn't for me. One time I placed an order for a pizza, but accidentally ordered for pick up. I was too lazy to go pick it up so I paid for a pizza I never got. I feel like that was money better spent than the cost of the ticket to see this movie.

I can’t wait to see this. I never knew I needed a more serious take on Leslie Vernon but I do. Also, it wasn’t really from his viewpoint. The scene of him walking in daylight toward the lady by the lake looks terrifying. Like the scene in Zodiac. When violence like this happens in daylight it makes you feel as if you are never safe

i just got back from seeing this movie… there are some things that cannot be unseen. i literally got a warning from the employees before the showing which has never happened in any horror movie i’ve ever seen

I saw this movie yesterday in the Fribourg film festival. It is pretty amazing, cool concept, brilliant ending, possibly better than the entire friday the 13th franchise. Forget about Victor Crowley, this movie revisiting the slasher codes in is own and unique way. I really hope that they choose Chris Nash to Direct the next friday the 13th.
