In my opion the funniest comedy show of all time. I watched this when it was on at the time. Late night Sundays. Used to cry laughing.

I would be in hysterics back in 1996/97 on a Friday night into saturday morning about 12.30am on LWT watching it with my mate. Then they repeated it on channel 5 around 1998/99. I would quote the show and no one would know what I was on about,it was a special thing and I was and I still am a fan.

I'm not completely on her side, but battery hen farming is a vision of hell on earth. Utterly vile and should be outlawed.

"I had a plate of muselli for me breakfast." That Gellately lady soon went full vegan, but Bill Weeks lived for another 20+ years after this show.

There is nothing obnoxious about that farmer. Bill Weeks the farmer didn't pass away until February 2016. He was a celebrity in the North East and was a familiar face on Tyne Tees Television, presenting farming shows as far back as the 1960's. Bill was the farmers champion and fought for farmers rights, right to the end in an era that the various Governments of the 60's onwards should have been standing up for them He was always fighting against the Common Market paying British farmers not to produce milk and dairy products . He was a great character . I do not agree with battery farming and have had nothing but barn or free range myself. Would I prefer Bill Weeks the farmer or the then 'young woman' who would make someone a great wife round for dinner? It's a no brainer isn't it? Do Google Bill Weeks won't you? Without him, I would not have been made aware that 200 people a year were kicked to death by Donkey's at Blackpool Pleasure Beach each year.

+Philip D so you are saying vegetarian activists are not in the slightest bit dictatorial or patronising because i assure you right now ive known some and they make this guy seem really lovely, believe me i am not exaggerating
