This is such a beautiful arrangement. When I first learned this piece, it was also a rock of relief for me to rest on. This is such a meaningful, powerful, dedication to the love and power of Christ, it has filled me with greater remembrance and gratitude for what He has done for us. Thank you!

I searched high and low for a version of this to listen to when I was learning the piece and couldn’t find any! I’m so thankful I have it now. One of the best arrangements of “In Christ Alone”, I’ve ever heard, thanks to Dr. Wells. As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I know that Christ is the center of where our light and strength comes from. He’s our destiny.

It’s kinda ironic that BYU sings “In Christ Alone”. May we all pray that we trust in only the life, death, burial and resurrection of our savior and nothing else! No other revelation nor our own works nor family nor elders nor prophets!

I was just thinking this. Do they really believe he was the fullness of God in a helpless babe? Not a created being, brother of Satan, and just further along in his exaltation then they are. This song pushes the emphasis that no Christ is God in flesh. Part of the Trinity( Godhead) and has always existed from everlasting to everlasting. Creator. Redeemer. Shepard. The Gate. The door. The narrow way. Christ + nothing= everything. If your trusting in dead works to save your souls, turn from that now. Only the Lamb of God is worthy to save. Believe in Him alone. Not a temple. Not your organization. Christ Alone. Beautiful arrangement and talented singers, but I would urge them all to really think about what they are singing and how there church does not agree with the Jesus of the Bible.

We may not agree on the exact details of how faith and works interact to bring us salvation, but I hope that we can at least agree that salvation can only come "in and through the atoning blood of Christ, the Lord Omnipotent." (Mosiah 3:18).
