In class air bag deployment of 2 stage airbag

Күн бұрынThis is a 2 stage air bag that our instructor set off in class as a demo under controlled circumstances. Note the styrofoam cup half full of water sitting on top. It gets disintigrated. By comparision, this is actualy one of the quietest air bags they've set off. Imagine 2 or three of these going off at once, the seatbelt tensionors firing off as well, not to mention the booming roaring crunching of metal slamming on metal and grinding around etc!

Thats 1st year automotives at Nait ! They set an airbag off for every class that goes through there

actualy it shouldnt if you're sitting in the car properly, dont have your hand across the wheel and stuff. The whole procees takes a fraction of a second... the airbag is deployed and out before your face actualy hits hit, so its like a big balloon, although a rough textured one lol. theres also the seatbelt tensioners that fire off and jerk the belt tight, forcing you back into the seat at the same time. it would be loud as hell though, 2 or 3 air bags and a few seatbelt tensioners firing off!
