Can you tell us more about this event, please? What happened?

@@Gulkave Yeah sure, I wrote out the whole story shortly after the event in the summer of 2020, it's about a 20 minute read and I've been meaning to make a youtube video of me simply reading it aloud. But in a nut shell, I was camping alone deep in the Snowy Range mountains of south east Wyoming. About 10 at night there were two tree knocks from across the pond, maybe 75 yards away. Call this coming from my six O'clock position. I knew what it was and thought "oh nooo..." Ten seconds later there was a single knock on my side of the pond, about 30 yards away, coming from 3 O'clock. Another ten seconds and from my 11 O'clock came a single rock clack, different from the wood knocks. I was surrounded and thought I was going to die. Ten minutes of silence went by and the EXACT pattern happened again. Two wood knocks behind, one knock to my right, one rock clack to the left. Then nothing much for the rest of the night. No one else for miles around, I wasn't in some campground. I always hike deep into the wilderness. Anyway, I eventually cooked dinner, drank a bit of whisky and went to bed. Nothing more happened. But I was terrified and not a day has gone by since then that I don't think about it... Dave

@@davide.anderson8507 WOW! I appreciate the time and effort you´ve made to write it down. I would be scared shitless! I´m from Brazil and while we do have some wilderness areas around, It is nothing like you have in the US. Fun fact: back in 2008 I´ve been to Serra da Capivara National Park, waaaay north in my country, and a place which has a lot of wilderness. I´ve went there with knowledge of a sasquatch sighting, spoke to the witness (who had the sighting back in 1967), but then after I´ve spoke to a couple biologists who told me they got word of a BF sighting in the year 2000, inside the park. So, the big fellas are here in Brazil as well, but you have to go deep in the interior of the country to hear about the real sightings.

@@davide.anderson8507 One question: when you hike deep in the wilderness, do you carry a firearm? If so, which one? Or did you´ve started to pack heat after this incident?

@@Gulkave I carry an old Sig Sauer P225. I thought at the time that they might kill me but at least I could give them a little pain before they do. In hindsight I think they were just curious and not assholes. The knocking seems to have been them communicating between themselves and not directed at me. Nothing intimidating was directed toward me. I went back in 2022. Nothing happened. There's videos on my channel of these outings.

you raise very good questions, no DNA and no bone evidence. first, unless you have hair follicles you will not be able to extract DNA from hair. in the OJ case, the subpoena was for hair, without follicles. therefore dna in the oj case was not going to be established from the collected samples while he was in the pretrial state. as for bones/fossils. every so often, new fossils are located and heretofore unknown. the extant fossil record dates into antiquity, the ancient greeks knew of them but not where they come from. moving to bones. it might interest you to know that skeletal remains of mountain lions have never been found in the wild. yes people see them, yes people kill them, but bones in the wild walked up on by a hunter or explorer has never happened. i live in an area with mountain lions and started learning about them to protect my dogs

Well one thing I'm aware of, is scavengers eat dead things, like every part. There's millions of deer in my State, and I'm in the woods quite a bit, and I never find dead deer remains. I'm sure some people do, but it's not very common. I'd think Bigfoot, if they exist at all, are far fewer in numbers than deer or even bear by a long shot. They'd probably be endangered. If they exist, living ones are rarely seen, let alone dead ones. Idk, just a thought.

Can you imagine if the judicial system used your logic, people would guilty of crime because you had no proof that proved they did't commite the crime.
