You guys holding an economic forum but asking too many questions about politics and Russia/West. Why don't you guys ask for renewable energy, Middle East's cooperation in these areas, economics, etc? If you are so worried about Putin, you should've invited him and asked the same questions.

Hypocracy of Manus Cranny vs diplomacy of Tokayev = a very valuable interview.))) The gist of the message from Tokayev is that Mr Putin is a staunch ally of Kazakhstan, and we want to have friendly and predictable relationship with the US. The statement of Tokayev's vis-а-vis that Russia is weaponizing the energy market sounds funny to say the least. Anglosaxons salivated looking at reliable and rather cheap gas supplies to Europe from Russia, so they did their utmost to rectify this misfortune in their traditional style ( Opium Wars are the least in the table of references). For guys in London the people of the rest of the world are stupid by default (as suggested by Manus Cranny). My concern is that Tokaev doesn't look well, and given the instability of governance institutions and shabby statehood in Kazakhstan, this makes the perspectives of this country very merky and chilling. Looking back at the last January events, who knows what Mi6 and alike have in mind?
